State Super (SAS Trustee Corporation) is pleased to announce that Ms Cathy Yuncken has been appointed to the Board.
Of this new appointment, State Super Chair Mr Nicholas Johnson said, “Cathy is an outstanding financial services industry professional with over thirty years’ executive leadership experience and was appointed after an extensive search process. I am excited for her to join us on the State Super board, and am confident that her proven skills, commitment to members and fresh perspective will be of great benefit to State Super during this highly challenging Superannuation environment.”

Ms Yuncken is currently a Non-Executive Director at Eclipx Group Limited, Chairman of the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation and Managing Director of See Y Pty Ltd. Other directorships have included Chair of BT Private Nominees, Executive Director of the Advisory Boards of BankSA and Bank of Melbourne and Non-Executive Director of Fitted for Work.
Ms Yuncken’s executive career has also included roles at Bank of America, Barclays Capital, and senior leadership roles at GE Capital, Commonwealth Bank’s institutional bank, and Westpac Group. Ms Yuncken holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from UNSW and is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
