SASS opened on on 1 April 1988 and was closed to new members on 18 December 1992. SASS is a 'split benefit' scheme made up of your personal account and employer-financed benefit.

SSS
State Superannuation Scheme
SSS was established on 1 July 1919 and was closed to new members on 1 July 1985. SSS is a defined benefit scheme, which means that benefits are based on a specified formula, rather than by investment returns.
PSS
Police Superannuation Scheme
PSS is a superannuation scheme for members of the NSW Police Service who were employed prior to 1 April 1988. The scheme was closed to new members from 1 April 1988.
